The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the installation of two (2) Linestops for a 48-inch force main located in the vicinity of NE 4th Avenue and NE 139th Street and a second 48-inch force main located in the vicinity of NE 148th Street and NE 8th Avenue in North East Miami-Dade County. The project also includes making hot tapping and line stopping; furnishing and installing tapping saddle and tapping valve; preparing concrete pipe surface, furnishing and installing flow stopping equipment, performing line stop operation, and pressure testing tapping saddle and tapping valve in both directions; and all other appurtenant and miscellaneous items and work for a complete and fully functional installation. It is the intent of the Department to obtain a complete functional, and satisfactory installation under this Contract, and any items of labor, equipment or materials which may reasonably be assumed as necessary to accomplish this end shall be supplied whether or not they are specifically stated herein. All bids are to be turned into the OCI Group located on the first floor of the Douglas Building located at 3071 SW 38 Ave.. Liquidated Damages - $500.00 per day.
